Notice of Race
1 RULES
The races will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing and Appendix D- Team Racing Rules, the Notice of Race, and the Sailing Instructions. In the event of a conflict between the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions, then the Sailing Instructions shall govern.
2 CLASS
Color coordinated collegiate FJs will be provided.
3 TEAMS
Each competing team shall consist of three skippers and three crews. It is required that all competitors be female. See Entries and Registration for more details.
4 ENTRIES AND REGISTRATION
The registration deadline is July 20, 2007. A skipper and crew are invited to register without a team. Individual boats will be placed on teams prior to the regatta. Likewise, two boats are also invited to register for the event. Teams will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Any odd boats or pairs will be notified before the event. Entry fee is $10/ person and all entries shall be made electronically by completing the electronic Registration form (top menu).

7 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
Sailing Instructions will be available on line at the event website.
8 FORMAT
Subject to wind and weather conditions and the number of participants, the intended format is a double round robin followed by a final four championship round.
9 COURSES
A digital N course or triangle course will be used.
10 SCORING
The scoring system prescribed in Appendix D shall be used.
11 PROTESTS
Protests not settled on the water will be settled via 3-Minute Justice as outlined at the Competitor's Meeting.
12 LIFEJACKETS
All competitors shall wear U.S. Coast Guard approved PFD's at all times while on the water.
