Thursday regatta highlights: The sailors enjoyed a windy but very shifty WNW wind at 6-12 knots. Excellent sportsmanship was prevalent with appropriate turns observed by the RC. Thank you to regatta volunteers and MIT Sailing Pavilion dock staff members for assistance. Racing will continue tomorrow afternoon.
Friday was a breezy NNW at 6-18 knots. There was one protest resulting in a DSQ and one BKD granted. There were a number of swimmers, including the 2008 Mass State Champs, BC High, who took the traditional victory plunge after the awards ceremony.
