A beautiful Spring-like weekend welcomed 6 Teams to the Sharpe Trophy Team Race held at MIT and run by Harvard. 53 races were sailed during 3 complete round robins, with a best of 3 series sailed for 1 v 2, 3 v
4, and 5 v 6. Breeze ranging from the W to the NNE (though mostly W-NW on Sunday), 2-10 knots. Boats: Harvard and MIT 420s. Course:
Collegiate Digital N.

PRO Mike O'Conner did a great job in managing tough northerly conditions on the Charles River. Thank you to Harvard student Will White and Colin Santangelo for finish boat duty, Matty Cohen and Matt Lindblad for mark boat, Peter Johns and Greg Keily, with help from coaches Dan Rabin, Matt Lindblad, Bern Noack, Amanda Callahan and Matt Cohen, for judging and hearing a series of protests, and Fran Charles for rotation boat duty. Congrats to the Tufts Jumbos for beating Brown 2-0 in the final series. Attached is an excel sheet with the round robins and the sail-offs for the 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6.
