A tradition for the past 15 years at MIT, this event allows the crews of New England to test their helming skills against their peers. All skippers in this event must have no experience racing as a skipper during this past collegiate season. Finally a chance for the skipper to swear at the crew.....

The Polar Bear squad of Ben Berg/ Leah Hughes and Mae Speight/ Molly Clements from Bowdoin College eeked out victory over the Brown Bears. Conditions were 5-10 knot northerly with a very cold overcast sky. Six races were completed in both divisions. Thanks to Wally Corwin and Conan Hom who assisted on dock staff at the pavilion.
