Description
In the fall, the PE Learn to Race class is open to anyone with a Normal sailing card or a Racing card. The Varsity Coaches will teach racing techniques in the Lynx Catboats and Fireflies. PE credit may be achieved if at least five classes are attended.
Learn to skipper and crew a variety of boats fast upwind and downwind. Other topics covered are: starting, tactics, strategy, right of way rules. Participants must be proficient sailors and have completed the basic sailing course or its equivalent.
