Description
We will sail in and around Boston Harbor on Thursday evening, leaving from Waterboat Marina (directions here). We will meet at the marina at 5:30 PM and we will plan to be back at the marina by 9:30 PM. This will be a good opportunity for those who haven't sailed aboard Mashnee to get acquainted with bluewater sailing. A current sailing card is required to sign up.
Priority will be given to those with active sailing cards. Crew selection will be based on the needs of the boat and not in the order of sign up. Crew will be expected to come with appropriate clothing and a pair of dedicated boat shoes. These shoes are not to have been worn in the streets. Barefeet will not be allowed. I aim to select the crew by Tuesday evening and will send a follow up email with more details to the confirmed crew.
