Registration for the Sept 23rd, 2018 Class will run from around Midnight (12:01 am) to 1:00 pm on Friday, Sept 21st.
Please ignore the registration times above.
You must ALSO put your name on the priority / wait-list event. You should do that now, before registering here.
Confirmations will be based on your Priority List order, not the order you sign up here.
A limited number of those Registered will actually be Confirmed to take the class - emails will notify those Confirmed (and those not) by late Friday afternoon.
Note that everyone taking the class must pre-register and must be part of the MIT Community. >> No non-MIT Guests. No +1's. No walk-ins.
Clothing advice: wear shoes that cover the toes, heels, and top the front foot - shoes that you don't mind getting wet.
Weather permitting (e.g., warm and sunny) we may provide you with the option of practicing capsizing and recovery. If this is something you think you would like to do, bring a change of clothes (and a towel).
We recommend that EXPERIENCED SAILORS take one of the PAVILION INTRO FOR EXPERIENCED SAILORS classes instead.
