Delivery of Mashnee to Camden Maine

Update to below: A Tuesday afternoon departure is looking likely dependant upon when we can take delivery of our EPIRB.

Now is the time to take Mashnee on her annual pilgrimmage to Maine for a series of Classic Regattas.

I will enlist the help of 4 crew one of which must be happy to use the sails as a berth in the forepeak.

The departure is weather dependant. Though I have set a departure date for this Tuesday,  this could change. You must be able to be in "standby" mode. Currently the forecast is for :.MON THROUGH TUE NIGHT...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. A chance of showers.

The cruise took 33 hours two years ago in similar conditions.

As per MIT COVID policies you will be required to take a Covid test on campus before joining the boat. The test site is open from 8 to 4. On Monday you can get tested at E23 or the Johnson Athletic Center.

You are strongly encouraged to bring water and your own victuals i.e two  lunches, a dinner and a breakfast as well as your own coffee and tea. There is a 5 gal. water jug which we can fill before departure. 

There is foul weather gear onboard.
