Description
We will sail around Boston Harbor and maybe down to Minot Light on Saturday afternoon, departing from Waterboat Marina (near the Aquarium T stop, directions here; look at the satellite view and the marina is the place with the smaller boats North of Long Wharf and not the few big boats South of the wharf near the Aquarium) at 1400 and returning at 2000. Destination will depend on the weather conditions.
We will be selecting 6-7 from those who sign up and have current sailing cards. Other skippers are encouraged to join.
We will meet outside the locked gate at the marina.
Bring appropriate clothes. The ocean water is still only about 50 degrees and the forecast clouds will make for a pretty chily ride. Definitely bring hat, fleece, gloves and wind breaker. Sailing gloves are recommended.
Please provide your phone number when registering to facilitate last-minute coordination. Also, please make every attempt to come sailing if you sign up. We are generally oversubscribed on trips and last minute cancellations often do not allow enough time to fill your slot with another sailor.
