Mashnee Dinner in Gloucester

Description
We will be traveling to Gloucester for dinner, and then sail back through the night to Boston.
We will meet at Waterboat marina at 9:39 AM on Saturday (directions: https://maps.app.goo.gl/XsVdzAYbvY2wqgk7A) and then sail to Gloucester. We expect to arrive around 5:00 PM andgrab a mooring, and head ashore to walk around and have dinner. We will return to the boat beofre 10 PM, at which point we will sail back to Boston. We should get back to Boston around 3AM. Count on mooring and dinner costs of around $45-55 per person.
PLease note that we will choose some crew based on the needs of the boat. Newbies are welcome to sign up.
Also note that we will be sailing in Mass. Bay, where there is a much greater chance for becoming seasick than in the harbor or on the river.
Note: this trip is weather-dependent; we might need to cancel at the last minute, or stay in Glou ester longer than anticipated.
Things to bring:
- Water (a lot, it's a long day)
- Appropriate layers and sun protection for the weather (it's usually colder on the water but sun is stronger)
- Shoes for the boat (clean shoes that you didn't wear on the streets or thoroughly cleaned)
- Food (bring lunch and a snack to share:)).
Optional:
- Sailing gloves
- crew sheet if you're working towards a crew rating (note: there will be a new crew sheet this season)
please take off any jewellery beforehand
