Description
We will sail in and around Boston Harbor. We will leave from Boston Waterboat Marina (directions here). We will meet at the marina at 9:30 AM and we will plan to be back at the marina around 5:30 PM. This will be a good opportunity for those who haven't sailed aboard Mashnee to get acquainted with bluewater sailing. We will be selecting ~6 from those who sign up and have current sailing cards. If you have not yet read the Bluewater Sailing FAQ, please do so now.
A pair of dedicated boat shoes are required (a non-marking pair of sneakers that you wash beforehand and carry with you is acceptable). Sailing gloves are helpful but not required. Be prepared to sail in the rain as it is forecast to rain on Monday. Bring foul weather gear or a rain coat if you own them, if not we have some extras onboard but they are all very large.
Lastly, please plan on bringing something to eat and lots to drink. We will be out for a while and there is no drinkable water aboard Mashnee.
