Registration for this class (note the above date) will run
from Midnight (12:00:01 am) to 10 am on Friday, Aug 30th.
Confirmations for class spots will be based on your position in the Priority Queue, with priority given to those with MIT Recreation membership.
Please register for the Queue before signing up for a class.
Registering for this event (Registration on Red/Yellow menu above) does not confirm your entry into the class.
You will receive an email stating whether you have been confirmed or not.
On the day of the class:
- Come dressed ready to sail! Bring extra layers, it's cooler on the water than on campus.
- You must bring a valid MIT ID and complete your daily health attestation before arriving.
- You must be able to swim — no exceptions. You should be able to meet the standard MITNA swimming requirement, but do not need to present proof.
- Pre-registration is required. Click the "Registration" link above (when available) to register.
- Bring a snack, a hat, wear sunscreen, and avoid bringing much of value with you.
- 9:45-10:00am Check-in and knots practice. We'll try to start fairly promptly at 10:00 am!
