Hello windsurfing instructors and fans,
The pavilion opens for the season on Sunday which means it’s time for big breeze, cold water, and eight people trying to figure out how to split up roughly two and a half good rigs. The pavilion suffered a bit of Gaastra-intestinal discomfort this winter and the Gaastra 7.0 is no more. The 7.5 retains its grip on life (I think), but in reality has been a shambling, half-dead mess for years and is probably overdue for a burial at sea. The ever-sexy Chinook 7.5 needs two new battens, but aside from that is as ever-sexy as ever. Our beginner/intermediate sails are pretty worn out overall.
Anyway as you can see, it’s probably a good idea to get together and give everyone a good idea of the status of equipment, as well as put together a list of what equipment we’d like to see added to the pavilion to match the high level of interest/demand.
