Description

In this final Navigation session we will discuss the apps available on phones and tablets that integrate most all of what was shown previously into easy-to-use apps. Following that we will discuss something completely different: Sail trim. 

We will cover:

Sailing apps:

1. Weather, radar, thunderstorm

2. Navigation

3. Moorings and marinas

4. Sailing community apps

Sail trim:

1. General trim

2. Tell tales

3. Controls besides the main sheet

4. Positioning of the jib cars

5. Luff tension

6. Sails: Main, jib, spinnaker, code 0

Note: all Bluewater Winter Sessions will meet in classroom 2-131.
