Description

In this final Navigation session we will discuss the apps available on phones and tablets that integrate most all of what was shown previously into easy-to-use apps. Following that we will discuss something completely different: Sail trim. 

We will cover:

1. General trim

2. Physics behind sailing

3. Tell tales

4. Changing sail shape of jib and main (vang, outhaul, hallyard, cunningham, jib car position, traveler, luff tension)

5. Depowering options

6. Sails: Main, jib, spinnaker

1. Weather, radar, thunderstorm

2. Navigation

3. Moorings and marinas

4. Sailing community apps
