Lynx Catboat Class for Provisional Rating sailors - Re-scheduled

Description

Introduction to the Lynx Catboat - for Provisional Rated sailors. Participants must have an active sailing card.

It is recommended that you have taken the Intermediate Sailing in Tech Dinghies class.

Note: A “Provisional” rating is a prerequisite for taking this class and receiving the basic “Lynx” rating. This means you have completed the provisional checklist with a dockstaff or have completed a PE sailing course. 

Note: Class size limited to 3 people, please pre-register.

This class is weather-dependent.

Optional but recommended: Bring sailing gloves or inexpensive rubber-coated work gloves. The Lynx mainsheet takes more physical work than on a Tech, and having gloves makes everything easier.

Registration is open. 

Registering for this event does not automatically confirm your entry into the class. Participants from postponed classes will have priority for this make-up class.
