Description
The Great Chase Race is a pursuit race around the inner islands of Boston Harbor and a party in Hull afterwards.
We will start at the Waterboat Marina and motorsail to the south side of peddocks. From there we will have lunch, then start the race, which is usually a box course around rainsford, peddocks and sheep island, finishing north of bumpkin.
After the race we will join the sailing community at the BBQ after-party, which is a good opportunity to make local connections and enjoy the turning season.
We will motorsail home, likely arriving around 8pm.
Given the large number of boats, maneuvering and variety of sail configurations we may see, experience and teamwork will be prioritized in crew selection.
Please bring lunch, water in a reusable bottle, and sun protection.Organizers
