Description
With the Tall Ships coming to Boston from July 11-16, we have a great opportunity to do some sightseeing in the Harbor!
We will be taking Lynx #1 out into the Harbor along the official specator route and then on to Spectacle Island, where we will either dock or beach the boat to have lunch. If we have made good progress, we may then continue on to subsequent Harbor islands before returning home, once again along the spectator route.
Expect to meet at the pavilion no later than 9am and to depart no later than 9:30am. We will plan on returning by 6pm. You should expect to spend the day in the Sun and will need to bring plenty of water, food, etc. More information regarding Harbor trips may be found on the MIT Sailing Wiki.
Due to the anticipated busy nature of the Harbor, a Lynx rating is required for this event. Participants may be selected based on their sailing background and experience.
