Sailors,
Mashnee will be sailing within Boston Harbor this Thursday between 5-8pm. Please plan your commute accordingly and arrive on time. The goal of this sail will be to familiarize ourselves with Mashnee.
Since this is an early season sail, proper attire will be needed (a jacket, long sleeve shirt and pants are a good place to start). Although the forecast is calling for warmer temperatures, the on water temperature can be significantly less, especially as the evening progresses. Packing an extra layer is recommended. Please also bring a pair of dedicated boat shoes when sailing aboard Mashnee. This means shoes with non marking soles and that have not been worn in the streets. An old pair of shoes that you have washed the soles (free of dirt and pebbles) are acceptable. Please also bring food and a drink as there are no refreshments aboard. Since space aboard Mashnee is limited, please be mindful of how many bags you bring.
This will be a fair weather sail, so our plans may change if the weather chooses to not cooperate. I will follow up tomorrow evening with an update. If you have any questions, please reach out.
