Hello to all!
This is the final leg of the Mashnee Maine trip, which will be primarily sailing. Participants for this leg should be interested in offshore sailing. This sail is intended as an extended introduction to offshore cruising for MITNA members with bluewater experience (on Mashnee or other 30-ft or larger cruising sailboats). Please note that we will be sailing for at least a day and a half in potentially bumpy seas, so be sure to consider your susceptibility to seasickness. This is a delivery; fun is optional.
We will take the bus from South Station around 11 AM Sunday morning and arrive at Camden around 4 PM. Depending on a lot of factors, we may leave Sunday evening, or we may wait for better weather.
We are hoping to select the crew for this trip quite soon so that everyone can make plans; this means there is an expectation that if you sign up for the trip and are selected, you will come. There are many moving parts to coordinate to make these trips happen, and we expect that the crew will be as committed to this trip as are the skippers.
