Description

Have you been dreaming all winter about sailing into the harbor? Did you wish you could visit Thompson Island, closest and one of largest of the harbor islands, but thought it was only for Outward Bound? Then this is the trip for you!

We are taking a trip with two Lynxes into Boston Harbor, planning to land on Thompson Island for lunch before sailing back in the afternoon. On the island, we can walk around and explore its beaches, woods, and central lagoon, and see the remarkable ropes course. (This is the first weekend of public access for the season.) We'll land on the sandy spit at the southern end so be prepared for getting your feet wet. We will be leaving from the boathouse at 08:30, and will be back around 17:00 (depending on wind!). Bring a lunch, water, sunscreen, and clothes to keep you warm and dry. We will confirm entries by noon on Wednesday.
