The 2012 CRO Team Race will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20. Once again high paced action will be featured on the Charles River, with expert race management provided by volunteers and members of the last event winners. As always, amazing hospitality will be provided by the MIT Sailing Pavilion staff. We will use 18-30 FJs and 18 Fireflies enabling us to have a high volume of races for all participants.

Entry will be limited to high school and college team racers and others who have actively contributed back to high school and college sailing. These sailors must have spent a minimum of two full days to help run, umpire, judge, or coach at a college or high school sailing event in this academic year.

There is a field in the registration form to provide information about the event you assisted and contact info for the organizer who will be asked to verify your participation.

Your registration includes:

  • Insane team racing on 18-30 MIT & (Harvard FJ's), and 18 MIT Fireflies on Sat & Sun (we had over 400 races in 2008!)
  • Trophy (if you win!)
  • Regatta t-shirts for your team (6 people)
  • Red Bones dinner on Saturday night (6 people)
  • Sun lunch (left overs)

Extra tickets for Red Bones dinner : $25

NOTE: There will be an initial limit of twenty-four (24) registered teams. If a large number of waiting list teams sign-up, we will add teams in groups of 6 at a time (to maintain consistency in the scoring system we need groups of 6).
