Boston Harbor Ladies Challenger Race

Description

Ladies! The day of the big race. Women sailors of all levels of experience with current sailing cards, feel free to sign up. Crew selection will be based on the needs of the boat and not in the order of sign up (8 crew will be selected). Crew selection for this race is highly dependent on participation in previous ladies practices and Wednesday night races this spring. Logistics (still to be confirmed)

We will meet at the table at Waterboat Marina around 7:30 am. We will sail over to Savin Hill Yacht Club to receive the race briefing. Around noon will be the start of the race. In the afternoon we will sail Mashnee back and should be back at Waterboat around 4 pm.

Things to bring:

• Water
• Appropriate layers and sun protection for the weather (it's usually colder on the water but sun is stronger)
• Shoes for the boat (clean shoes that you didn't wear on the streets or thoroughly cleaned)
• Food (it's a long day)
• Sailing gloves
