Description
We are set to deliver Mashnee from Dion’s Yacht Yard in Salem back to Boston this Saturday. Please see below for logistics and information for the day. Logistics & Schedule Meeting Point: MIT Sailing Pavilion Meeting Time: Saturday morning at 9:00 AM Transportation: We will organize 1–2 Ubers to Dion’s from the Pavilion. The Route: The sail home is just over 20 miles. We will also need to bend on the mainsail before we depart Salem. Preparation & Gear This will be a full-day commitment. Given the conditions, please come prepared for a potentially wet and cold sail. Proper layering is key for comfort and safety. Please pack the following into a small gear bag: Clothing: Adequate base layers and waterproof outer layers. Footwear: Sailing boots are recommended over sailing shoes. Supplies: A refillable water bottle, snacks, gloves, and SPF. Health: Please have sea sickness medication on hand or take it in advance if needed. Crew will need to have an active sailing card.
