This is the checklist of thing to do before getting underway.
- unlock cabin, starboard lazarette, and stern lazarette. stow locks in top drawer of nav station.
- remove companionway boards. stow in cabin.
- make log entry. include at least the following:
- date and time
- name of each person on board
- engine hours at start
- remove guppy. stow in bucket in aft lazarette.
- set lower battery switch to "1"
- after start engine, let it charge battery (maybe 15 minutes)
- then turn top switch to "1" or "2", and lower switch to OFF
- set main breaker to 'on'.
