Please add your name and a blurb about yourself.

Andrew Boardman - MIT staff, sometime grad student, sailor of boats small and large. (Including, once upon a time, Aleida.)

Fran Charles

Ryan Cleary - MIT '97, sailing team and pavilion employee as an undergrad, Sunday all-in-one and occasional Rhodes instructor as an alum (as well as misc. volunteer and rec. Tech/Hobie/Rhodes sailor).

Sean Porter

Samantha Jane - Started sailing at MIT (staff) in 1999, learned in the Sunday Morning all in one class. Sailed Aleida from 2000-2005. Consider myself a "first mate" for blue water stuff. Currently volunteer with Wedsnight learn to sail classes. Former MITNA exec. wierd fact: My great grandfather was the commodore of the Lynn Volunteer Yacht Club in 1918.

Amy Silveira - became part of the mit community in 2005. grew up sailing larger boats (40 ft) and racing small boats (dinghy).

Thom Spettel - became MIT community, fearful Helmsman in the Charles and fumbling bluewater crew exactly when 38-ft Aleida appeared at MIT; fumbly skipper 5 years later; [raced her] her last 5 years at MITNA...

Matthew Wall - MIT '89. Rowed as an undergrad, then finally figured out in grad school that the wind will move your boat with much less effort. First sailed Aleida when the boat was moored in Salem. Started overhauling Aleida circa 1993. Currently organizes harbor trips, occasional youth sailing crash courses, and helps to keep the multi-hull(s) operational.

Marianne Wisheart

Ted Young - MIT Class of '88. Started sailing in 1985. Sailed on Aleida from 2001-2005. Became an Aleida skipper in 2003. Currently volunteers at the Wednesday night classes.
