Here is a list of licenses, registrations, service contracts, etc, most requiring re-application annually, and involving Sailing Pavilion staff;

EDITORIAL NOTE: ThomS quickly hacked this page in 05Oct10
after being handed the SeaTow contract that Fran renewed.
He (Thom) is unapologetic about the approximateness/casualness of the
entries; he mainly wanted to brainstorm to get as many as he can
think of that the Pavilion staff need to be on the lookout for, and
the Bluewater staff have to monitor receipt of and/or action on.
  • Vessel: U.S. Coast Guard vessel registration
    • USCG send letter alerting us that must be renewed by 01 July [???] for no charge
    • letter comes to Pavilion [??:Ted usually applies?]

  • Dinghy: Mass. state registration
    • renew at state office Boston, or [probably] online [Thom did long ago maybe?]
    • usually in spring ??? [some number of times by Kenn S, was it by Ted Y 2010?]

  • Vessel: City of Boston mooring registration
    • (Thom stuck 2010 sticker on port quarter summer? 2010 [picked it up at Pavilion ??]
    • maybe Matt W or Ted Y went to an office or website to order new one?\

  • Vessel: SeaTow assistance contract
    • contract 710-2179174 Corporate contract, valid thru 9/15/2011, in Francis Charles name
    • renew online at SeaTow.com
    • Fran gave to ThomS 05Oct10
    • Thom thinks we've had it in various of our names, or as "Nevermore" (but this time it doesn't say "Nevermore" but DOES identify vessal as "1980 37' Tartan".
    • names may not be important, since booklet says "...any person operating the ... vessel is entitled to receive membership benefits for that vessel."

  • Vessel: Winter storage / haulage contract
    • is it Matthew W that has made first contacts last few years?
    • what's involved in getting the school to actually order the contract?
    • marina (i.e. Admiral Hill) requested names of all workers on boat
