Nevermore is a U.S. Documented Vessel. This means that the vessel is registered with the U.S. Coast Guard National Vessel Documentation Center. State registration is not necessary for U.S. documented vessels.

The official documentation number is on the Certificate of Documentation and it is painted on the interior of the hull above the navigation berth (aft port-side).

Note that there exists some paperwork from R. Reid with an erroneous 5-digit number. The correct number is six (6) digits.
