Welcome to the MIT Bluewater Sailing Wiki

This wiki contains information about MIT's coastal sailing program.

In the Summer of 2007, Nevermore, a Tartan-37 sailboat, was donated to MIT. Once overhauled, this boat will be available to the MIT community for sailing in Boston Harbor and up and down the coast.

With his gift of Nevermore in 2007, Ralph Reis '48 kicks off MITNA's second quarter-century of bluewater sailing, which was started by Albert Hopeman '34 with the donation of his 38-foot sloop Aleida, put into regular service by MITNA crews and skippers in 1981!
