Out-of-water observations:
- Topsides paint: moderate surface wear
- Bottom paint: significant flaking post power washing. Needs to be redone.
- Varnish: generally ok, needs routine refresh. Bowsprit, Samson post, cockpit coamings and tiller all have bare patches
- Caulking: ok
- Propeller/shaft/zincs: plenty of barnacles on hub. Zincs replaced fall 2024.
- Main cabin skylight hatch is cracked on aft edge, hardware not installed. Needs repair
- Lazarette hatch: control arm not installed. Hardware in nav locker, starboard aft above stove
- Only one of the four jib cars has an operational spring under the pin

- Galvanic corrosion: check from 2024: [Some other evidence of galvanic corrosion, including on an engine mount bolt and a through-hull fitting]
- Mast step: good

- Engine: per Dion's on 11/11/24: engine has been winterized, but routine service not yet done

Sail Inspection
Mainsail:
- Wear on batten pockets; needs reinforcement (MIT)
- Minor broken stitching

- Bolt rope separating from sail near head
- Small nick on foot near forward foot batten
- Slice in reinforced canvas near tack
- Abrasion holes in 4th and 2nd batten pockets - fixed when inspected
140:
- Abrasion on 2nd and 3rd batten pockets
- Small hole at tack reinforcements
- A few broken stitches along luff at head, first red mark, and 3rd radial stitching line above first batten
95 -- Send to North
- Stitching on top batten pocket pulling loose
- Two lateral holes and some pulled stitching along the luff bolt rope
- Isolated hole near second batten
Working jib (old)
- Isolated broken stitches, generally present across entire sail
- Small tear in one layer of doubled fabric opposite of lower telltales
- Small holes and broken stitching along foot
Big Red Spinnaker
- A few broken stitches along red tape
