Intro to the Firefly: Rig and Sail
NOTE: Class is limited to 20 people, and pre-registration is mandatory.
You must be a MITNA member with a Provisional Rating (we will check)!
Dress for the likely possibility you may go swimming.
The class will be about 2+ hours long, and will cover
rigging and basic Firefly sailing, tacks and gybes,
proper sail trim and balance,
and maybe some capsize practice.
We will pair people up - each pair will rig and sail a Firefly.
You should watch the rigging videos online as preparation:
